Camera duo for interior spaces plus Gateway
Edimax offers a particularly good-value package for the indoor area. The EDI IC3210WK set consists of two security cameras for interior spaces and a control unit, the “Gateway”.
The first special feature: The cameras with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels can also be operated by battery. As a connection to the mains supply is then not necessary it provides for flexibility in terms of the installation location, the transfer of signals is carried out in this case wirelessly via WiFi.
Special feature number two: The cameras offer microphone plus loudspeaker, so it is possible to have discussions with family members on the cameras — also via smartphone app while on the go.
The cameras can also be used as a baby monitor.
Of course, the set comes with all the essential features for surveillance.
The infrared technology means the cameras keep monitored rooms in view, even in the dark. They set off an alarm in the event of any noise or movement, and you get a push message on your mobile phone. You can also get live images on the smartphone app.
After all, it is not only when you are on holiday that it is reassuring to be able to look and see if everything is in order at home.
